New VEL™ 7.0 Extrusion Calculator Module
Compuplast’s complex and precise 2D and 3D finite element calculations are powerful CAE tools. However, in many situations, a faster estimate is needed — and often sufficient. That’s where simple 1D solvers can provide essential information for your redesign steps.
The VEL™ 7.0 Extrusion Calculator is a set of lightweight CAE tools. It is simple to use, fast to solve, and easy to post-process, yet can still support the design of complex extrusion tooling.
This calculator can be used as a socket solver in other modules (such as 3DFem) or as a standalone tool. It also includes a history feature to help you optimize your designs over time. This young and extensible module is under active development — we expect more solvers to be added soon.
